The ancient Greeks believed that the colour pink comes from white and was represented by Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, love and passion. Pink makes an impressive appearance in the men’s fashion as early as the 18th century with men of the time wearing impressive guilted and embroidered suits in this colour. It is before the 1st World War that pink starts becoming associated with girls and gradually gets the “feminine” label in the next decades. Since 1990 and into 2000 though pink returns in men’s fashion and becoming a best selling colour. This trend started passing into the men’s underwear world and today, pink, is one of the biggest colour trends in underwear and swimwear fashion all over the world. Pink is a great colour for every skin tone; it is bright, catches attention and expresses a strong attitude.
