We have a very nice, new underwear brand, from Germany to show you today. The brand is called G&A (ORG&ANIC underwear) and is a sustainable organic underwear label based in Berlin. Their first collection was shown to the broader public during the Berlin Fashion Week, earlier this month. Their garments are designed in Germany and produced in Kolkata, India, according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification scheme. They are all made from 100% organic cotton and are dyed using natural colours. That means no pesticide were used in the cotton they use for their fabrics. It is also this eco-friendly company’s desire to give part of the profit from each item sold back to India. They support the NGO “Voice of the Poor” in Kolkata and also two kids of families in need. G&A covers all school fees, the educational materials and meals.
G&A has developed a starting collection which comprises fourteen different underpants – enough to meet the needs of all men, whether they are saviours of the world, fetish lovers or heroes! They offer four different underwear cuts: slip (that’s a low cut brief), briefs, trunks (long leg boxer briefs) brazilian trunks (boxer briefs) and tank tops. They all come in black, white and two shades of grey.
We absolutely love the sleek design and minimalistic look. We think this is a brilliant first collection and we hope we see a lot more from this brand in the near future. We will keep an eye on them and certainly keep you updated. Make sure you visit their website and enjoy the photos from their look book below.
