Last February we showed you the Dystopia collection for Fall Winter 2018-19 by ES Collection as presented in Barcelona Fashion Week. You can see that article here. We were amazed by the use of non-traditional materials in the underwear of the collection and the references to a changing world. Dystopia is a term used to describe a dysfunctional world where ideologies clash and society is unhappy. The collection is a daring collection, an amalgam of textures, styles, colours and contrasts. Thick fabrics are mixed with lightweight jerseys, synthetic quilts, pleather, mesh and even ropes to present a futuristic take on men’s underwear and athleisure.

Today we will show you the official campaign of the brand released just a few days ago. Expressing the concept of Dystopia Collection, the campaign takes place in Can Batllo, an old fabric factory, and the freight train station of Barcelona. The abandoned, industrial and almost shocking background contrasts with the beautiful designs of this collection. Colours are mixed with grey and props look as if they came out of books such as 1984 or films like MadMax.
