Back in September we showed you the Fall 2015 mens underwear collection of Tommy John. The american brand, founded in 2008 by Tom Patterson, just relaunched their 360 Sport Performance underwear line. The line comprises long boxer briefs and trunks in three, very nice colours for each cut.
Tommy John seem to have put a lot of thought behind the redesign of these products. They are made from a polyester/elastane blend fabric with perforated panels at the back, pouch and inner thighs for wicking and cooling. The fabric has anti-microbial and anti-odour properties and is sewn with a 360 degrees, 4-way stretch, which is perfect for sports and high intense activities.
A nice quirky detail is also the small stash pocket on the side, the perfect place to keep your locker key at the gym. Having said that, the 360 Sport performance underwear could be very well worn every day and at any occasion. It is comfortable, the waistband is thin and soft, plus the design is quite cool. The pouch is double ply and has a horizontal fly at the top for quick access when you need it.
In terms of manufacturing we did find a few imperfections on the pair we tried. Some off centred seams and panels that are not cut straight with some untidy ends.
Enjoy the campaign shots below from the relaunch of the 360 Sport Performance line by Tommy John. You can find their underwear at Nordstrom, more than 100 menswear stores and online at their official e-store.
