British manufacturer Sulis Silks has just released its new collections of menswear and mens underwear from silk for Winter 2017. Sulis was founded in 1993 by Mark and Fiona Faulkner. They started as a mail order company specialising in silk underwear and nightwear for women. In 1994 they set up their own manufacturing unit and produced their first silk lingerie collection. Since then they have continued to grow, becoming Sulis Silks Ltd in 2000 and adding silk menswear in 2004.

For this season the brand proposes the stretch silk collection (91% silk satin, 9% elastane) which features rich colours such as cranberry, blackberry and peacock alongside a more sober palette of black, storm and ivory. The cuts range from briefs and thongs to mini shorts and fitted boxers some of them with black branded waistbands and some with plain elasticated waist.

Sulis also makes a complete range of pure silk jersey underwear and a separate line of mens lace and silk underwear you may want to check out. Silk is a unique natural fibre. It is light, breathable, hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial, but most of all feels great against the skin. All the collections are designed and made at the company’s studios near Bath, England and are available in sizes S to XL/XXL.
