Today I would like to introduce you to a new brand from Denmark. The name of the brand is Zahid Latif Copenhagen (ZLC) and will be launching in February 2013.

Its founder and Creative Director, Zahid Latif was born and raised in Denmark with roots from Lahore, the cultural centre of Pakistan, where some of the world’s finest fabrics come from. Zahid has been exposed to vibrant colours, different textures, precious stones and metals through his family which kept their heritage thriving for generations. These influences gave him the eye for vibrant yet refined things. He studied at the Danish School of Design and now he is showing to the world his creative talents via his paintings, calligraphy and fashion.

What should we expect from Zahid Latif Copenhagen? A first line in February and maybe a lot more styles during the year. Having seen pictures of their briefs (see below) we are convinced about the nice style and attention to detail. Clearly Zahid Latif is aiming to a “mucho” yet sensual look for his underwear collection without being extravagant. We asked Zahid to tell us a bit more about the fabrics he uses: “For the perfect result I only chose super-soft, high-performance fabric,
which is infused with an innovative odor-fighting force (microsilver
crystal technology
). This advanced silver antimicrobial treatment is
locked into the garment’s fibers, maintaining an extended freshness
between washings. Also the fabric has a quick-drying features and stays
comfortable during high activity and wicks moisture away from body. The
performance waistband is soft and comfortable to the skin and made of
nylon and not polyester, as it is more durable”. As for the shape he said to our blog that both front and back parts are made in a special way to enhance the male form to the maximum.

I can’t wait to see the official launch of the brand in February and test the actual product. From what we know so far we like what Zahid Latif Copenhagen has to offer. A neat yet sexy design with a great fabric. have a look at the pictures below and let us know what you think. Don’t forget to check out on Zahid Latif Copenhagen website (www.zahidlatif.com)
